Wool Information
Rosewood Llama Farm
Suri llama fiber is one of the longest and most lustrous animal fibers in the world today. The primary identification of a Suri Llama is the long lustrous locks with a fleece that hangs down nearly to the ground forming a natural midline from the head to the tail.
The straight or curled locks form close to the skin and maintain a unifrom profile. The tactile appeal of the fiber is it's cool slick hand with fine mircron and litle medulation. Handspinners, weavers and dyers love the soft smooth feel and it's ability to take dyes.

We offer raw wool, rovings, yarn, rugs and throws.
